1. Go to your app GB settings option from the three-dot at the top right corner
2. Click on Security and Privacy
3. Scroll down
4. Tap on the recovery question
5. Write a question and answer (remember them)
6. Now, go to the Home screen > click on WhatsApp
7. There will be a button at the bottom showing “Reset”
8. Click on it
9. Enter the answer to the recovery question
10. Apply a new Password or Pattern
11. Done
12. Your hidden chats will be shown to you

What if you forget the answer to your recovery question? Apply the steps described below very carefully; otherwise, your data may be lost.

1. Backup your GBWhatsApp into local storage
2. Close app
3. Go to your mobile settings > Application Manager> Installed Apps > GBWhatsApp
4. Click on ‘Storage & Data > tap on Clear data
5. Open GB Whatsapp again
6. Agree & continue > enter number > OTP > Allow access
7. Click on Restore backup
8. Enter name > done
9. Open App 
10. Go to GB settings > Security & Privacy > Scroll down
11. Enter new Recovery question and answer
12. Done
