Hide Blue tick

Whenever the sender’s messages are seen by the receiver, the ticks within the message bubble turn blue. This is the basic indication that the message has been seen. However, sometimes this indication leads to discrepancies.

We are not always free to reply to the messages we receive, so this option can be useful. By turning this option ON, the ticks will never turn blue. The sender will think you haven’t seen the messages, but in reality, you will have seen and safely ignored them.

Hide second tick

This is another amazing feature of OG loved by users. By turning it ON, you gain a high level of privacy. No second tick appears within the conversation bubble, indicating that you haven’t been online or seen the messages. However, in reality, you have seen all the messages. This feature can be use in both Android and iPhone OGWA.

Who can call me?

There is no need to block contacts one by one. If you are using OG WhatsApp for your personal number and don’t want to receive calls from anyone, you can use this feature, simply install it and have it yours. It offers several options; you can select the numbers from your contact list who can call you and who can’t. 

All the other numbers that will be excluded from the list will receive a notification on the screen every time they call you. You can also select the message you want to show on the notification screen.

Disable forwarded

To give credit to the original message sender, WhatsApp shows an icon above the message within the chat bubble. However, sometimes we don’t want this tag to appear, so we can use this feature to disable the forwarded tag on the messages. To use this OG WhatsApp feature, go to the privacy and security option within OG settings and turn it ON.

Hide Status view

If you don’t want to appear in the status view list of the second person, you can use this feature. If someone shares a story on their status and makes it private from you, there will be no effect on your side. You will see their status without them knowing.

To use this feature, click on the three dots at the top right corner of the OG interface and then select Auto-reply. Click on the plus icon at the bottom right of the screen, then choose ‘Reply if contains’, and write the text question that people mostly ask. In the ‘Auto-reply message’ section below, write your answer or the message you want to send as a reply and tap on the tick icon.

You can customize it further by adding a delaying time (in seconds), specifying the receiver, selecting specific contacts/groups to whom to reply, and choosing contacts/groups to exclude. Moreover, you can also specify the start and end times for this feature to work.

Message a number

This feature provides independence from saving the contact before sending a WhatsApp message or making a call. You don’t need to save a random number just for a one-time message or call.

Simply click on the three dots and tap on ‘Message a number’. A pop-up will open on the screen. Enter your number along with your country code and hit the message or call icon.

Mass message sender

The bulk message sender is an annoying feature that is used to tease someone. Write a message, select the number of times the message is to be sent, and hit the OK button. Messages will start being sent rapidly, akin to a bombardment.

Note: This feature can cause your WhatsApp to get banned. So, don’t overuse this feature.
